Hyundai Hope On Wheels - In 1998, Hyundai a small group of New England car dealers wanted to make a difference in their community. This eventually led them to the cause of pediatric cancer and creating Hyundai Hope On Wheels, a nationwide non-profit organization. With every Hyundai car sold, a portion of that sale goes to Hyundai Hope On Wheels. Over the past year, the non-profit surpassed a total of $225 million donated to pediatric cancer research in the United States. Across the country, handprint ceremonies take place where a child who has been impacted by cancer can place their handprint on a brand new white Hyundai. This signifies the belief that just like every handprint is unique, every child's battle with cancer is different. |
